Bryan Peterson is president and founder of Peterson Ray & Company, an eight–person Dallas design firm. Founded in 1985, Peterson Ray & Company is recognized nationally for achievements in corporate and college visual communications. Peterson’s work has appeared in numerous design publications, including Communication Arts, AIGA Annual, Graphis, New York Art Director’s Annual, Print Regional Design Annual, American Illustration and the Type Directors Club Typography Annual. Peterson Ray & Company clients include Southern Methodist University, George Fox University, Centex Corporation, Brinker International, CitiCapital, Hunt Oil, Baylor College of Dentistry, and The University of Texas at Dallas.
In addition to creating a successful, award–winning firm, Peterson has authored a best–selling book for HOW Design Books entitled Design Basics for Creative Results which has sold more than 45,000 copies.
Along with playing piano with the all–designer retro–rock band The Fabulous Fuzztones and with the americana/rock sensation, Jimmy LaFave, Peterson wrote, performed and produced two solo CDs, winning recognition for their package designs in various competitions.
Peterson is a 1979 graduate of Brigham Young University where he received a BFA in graphic design. In 1993, he was honored as the Alum of the Year for the College of Fine Arts and Communications.
