Project: John Inmon Musical CD Package Design

Beginning his musical career in 1966 as a sideman guitarist, John Inmon has become one of the premier talents of that genre to emerge from the Austin music scene, playing with the likes of Jerry Jeff Walker, Delbert McClinton, Gary P. Nunn, and Jimmy LaFave among others. Interestingly, in all of that time, he had yet to record a CD showcasing his own vast talents. The release of Songs for Heavy Traffic on Music Road Records features four popular tunes along with four of John’s original songs and marks his foray into the musical CD market. The cover design, with an illustration by Bryan Peterson, conceptually reflects the serenity of John’s music amidst the chaos of a modern world.
