What’s the most unexpected design challenge you’ve encountered?

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever learned from a project?

Have you ever jotted a concept down on a napkin?

What’s the secret weapon you have up your sleeve that you haven’t used yet?

Away from work, the one thing I do that might surprise everyone is…

I directed a photo shoot with Mikhail Gorbachev for a magazine shoot, and surprised everyone there because I’m fluent in Russian and had no need for a translator.

Oh, the things I could tell you about cockroaches and termites… :)

I have jotted down concepts on just about everything but a napkin. Once I jotted down a concept on a tablecloth.

The only weapon a designer needs is an X–ACTO knife, and we all know that you should never put that up your sleeve.

…that I love to compose music on the piano. It’s calming to me in a way that nothing else is.
